The government has set a renewable energy installed capacity target of 27.4GW by 2025, with solar power generation as the key development focus. The power generation target for 2025 has increased from 6.5GW to 20.0GW, a twofold increase. It is estimated that the total investment in solar energy will reach NT$1.2 trillion in the next 10 years.
